You can also change how much you want to bid depending on whether or not the user is on desktop or mobile, depending on the time of day, day of the week, location of the users and many, many more parameters!

A strategy we have tested and proved many times is of creating traffic to your website with people on google who already have a high intent, and then use the data from all these users to create audiences on Facebook that we can retarget to make them convert well.
